A warm welcome to the website of Kinawley and Holy Trinity Parish. Our parish consists of three churches across the local area: our parish church in Derrylin, and also the churches at Crom and Drumany.
We're proud to share on our page our beliefs, our understanding of Christianity, and much more. You can also read about all of the activities that take place across the parish, which consist of regular meeting groups and special events. Please ensure that you follow us on Facebook too!
As of Monday 29th June, our church buildings have been permitted to reopen for Sunday services subject to appropriate safeguards and the observance of all legal requirements as set by the Executive of the Northern Ireland Assembly. At that point the main requirement was appropriate social distancing between members of our congregation. Towards the end of August, this was supplemented with the wearing of face coverings. Separate guidelines exist for weddings, baptisms and funerals. The Rector and Select Vestry of this Parish have agreed to host services in two of our church buildings. So from Sunday 5th August there will be weekly services in both Derrylin and Crom at 10.30am and 12midday respectively. At present, the plan is to have a monthly service in Drumany beginning with a harvest service on Sunday October 4th. We would recommend to anybody planning to visit us, however, to keep checking our facebook page for up to date information including any changes to our scheduled programme
We are also aware as a parish that not all parishioners may feel able, as yet, to return to physical services. People may be extra vigilant at this time or indeed may still be observing a self-isolation letter for health reasons. Whatever the reason please be assured of our love and appreciation of you as a person created in God’s image. As well as the option to come to a physical service, the Derrylin service will continue to be livestreamed on Facebook at 10.30am (unless otherwise notified) and this service will also be uploaded to YouTube in the afternoon. CD ministry will also continue to be available for all those who would seek to avail of this service. On this website we will continue to add a selection of services and other useful items to our online media page to allow you to stay connected.
We thank our Heavenly Father for his faithfulness to all of us during these extraordinary times and for the salvation which was purchased for us by the blood of his Son our Lord Jesus Christ. It remains vital to stay connected as a community: to each other and as Church. We remain committed to protecting the welfare of all our church family.
As you can imagine, we hold services every Sunday, and we would love to see you at one of these. If you haven't been before, there's nothing to be nervous about. Just come along and find out more?
